Eurocoms are very excited and proud to announce we have recently secured the ICT infrastructure project at Dean Clough Mills, Halifax.

The multi-million pound redevelopment of the historic Grade II-listed A & B Mills at Dean Clough, Halifax will provide spacious new offices.

A & B Mills are the final two of Dean Clough’s ‘Great Mills’ yet to be renovated and mark the last phase of the Dean Clough successful regeneration story. When complete, the premises will provide 75,000 square feet of newly renovated contemporary offices, with a great heritage and the capacity to accommodate up to 825 people.

As a certified Excel cabling partner, Eurocoms were chosen from a number of contractors to  supply and install over 3,000 CAT6A shielded data outlets and over 2,000m of backbone fibre and copper.

The CAT6A system by Excel – Augmented Category 6 and associated connectors, take the performance capabilities of copper infrastructure to new levels. The cable has been designed to exceed the ISO/IEC, TIA and CENELEC for CAT6A/Augmented Category 6 component requirements. This delivers Class EA/Augmented Category 6 link performance over distances of up 90 metres which supports the applications including 10GBASE-T, 10 Gigabit Ethernet.

As Eurocoms are an Excel partner, the client will receive 25 years warranty on the copper and fibre infrastructure.
